TAI ALLEN is a poet, performer, vocalist, musician, producer and designer. He has toured domestically and internationally, performing at the Apollo Theater's Music Café, the National Black Writers Conference, Restoration Rocks, the American Jazz Museum, the Art of Cool Festival and Blue Note, among other venues. His poetry collection No Jewels and its official soundtrack were released in 2017. Tai Allen is the CreARTe Jazz Artist in Residence in The Betsy Writers Room.
JOHN HARDEN is an adventurous open minded saxophonist and songwriter who always strives and pushes himself as an artist. Hailing from Indianapolis, Indiana, John recently relocated to Miami, Florida. His music and sound encompasses many genres but the strongest influences are jazz, gospel and jam band. If you looked at his music collection you’d see that it stretches from Joshua Redman to Derek Trucks; from George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic to the Dave Matthews Band.
