BEN BEAL is one of the area’s most in demand jazz pianists and vocalists.  Ben first fell in love with jazz in his early teens, with his very first piano teacher filling his ears with George Shearing, Oscar Peterson, and many more. He plays locally, regionally, and beyond, with the best and brightest musicians from near and far - and is a new member of the Betsy Jazz Piano family. In addition to high profile performing/gigs, he is a sought after piano teacher, vocal accompanist, and professional music coach.

WENDY PEDERSEN got her Master's degree in Jazz Performance from Florida Intrenational University and is a graduate of the University of Miami’s Studio Music and Jazz Vocal program. She began her singing career in high school, but her earliest memory is poring through her mom’s record collection, practically wearing out the vinyl on Elton John and Beatles records. Eventually, her heart found its way to jazz and it has felt like home ever since. 

LISANNE LYONS - Lisanne Lyons received her Bachelors, Masters, and Doctor of Music from the University of Miami Frost School of Music. As a student, she received two Down Beat awards for Best Jazz vocalist, Best Jazz Arrangement, and one for directing Best Small Jazz Vocal Group. She is currently a Professor at FIU and Director of the Jazz vocal Program, and her vocal groups and students have won national and international performance awards.

Some of the groups Dr Lyons has performed with include the Orchestras of Woody Herman, Maynard Ferguson, and the Palm Beach Pops. She has performed with Bobby McFerrin, Mark Murphy, Jon Hendricks, Bucky Pizzarelli, Gary Burton and Brian Lynch.
