KONRAD PASZKUDZKI - Piano - Raised in Western Australia by Polish parents, Konrad is a Jazz capitalist. Jazz lobbyist. Jazz pianist. After being offered a scholarship to the University of Miami, he relocated to the United States in 2009, receiving his master’s degree in 2011 and just a few years later led the house trio at the coveted New York venue, 54 Below. In the next few years, as part of the John Pizzarelli Quartet he racked up over 1000 performances, worldwide. Konrad is music director at Jazz at the Ballroom and in 2016 became a Yamaha artist. Wynton Marsalis said, “Konrad has a pearly touch, a sense of history, a sense of drama, a love of the blues, and an elegance which is borne of high minded dedication.” @drkonniep
